ADI completes its acquisition of Maxim

American semiconductor manufacturer Cypress acquired by Infineon for $10.1 billion

At the end of May 2019, NXP announced the acquisition of Marvell's Wi Fi and Bluetooth chip portfolio business for $17.6 in cash, leading to another major acquisition in the semiconductor industry. On June 3rd, German semiconductor manufacturer Infineon announced the acquisition of American semiconductor manufacturer Cypress for $28.35 per share in cash. The value of this acquisition for Cypress reached 9 billion euros (approximately 10.1 billion US dollars).
