Semiconductor giant closes Shanghai company and reorganizes business in China!

According to Korean media news, one of South Korea's largest semiconductor giants SK hynix is restructuring its China operations and plans to close its Shanghai subsidiary, which was established in 2006. According to the 2023 audit report released, the company has been liquidating its Shanghai subsidiary since the fourth quarter of last year and plans to shift its business focus to Wuxi, where its semiconductor manufacturing plant is located. It is understood that SK hynix has three factories in China: Wuxi DRAM plant, Dalian NAND plant and Chongqing packaging plant. SK hynix is currently investing in the Wuxi plant to expand production capacity and improve technical standards.
